Use of blockers

The use of blockers is good to update the status of the assignment, and therefore for the OCUS team or the client to know what is going on. Here we are describing how to use the different blockers and a demo for each of them.

SP: Guidelines

You’ve accepted your assignment and are ready to reach out and schedule an appointment.
Before you do that, it’s very important to review the guidelines for every assignment, because they may vary. To view the guidelines all you have to do is head to the assignment’s page and in the section “Read the OCUS brief”, click on the orange text with the package description, it’ll direct you to its respective Food Photoshoot Instructions.
After selecting your preferred language, you’ll be able to see our guide to ensure you’re able to complete this assignment successfully. On the right, you’ll see a menu where you can click if you want to review a specific section and in the case that you stumble upon an issue with the guidelines, you can let us know by clicking on “Ask for help” back in your assignment’s page. All you have to do is select “Issue with guidelines” and leave us your comment. We’ll make sure to answer any question or concern you may have for your assignment.

SP: Set date later

You’ve reached out to the on-site contact but they’re not ready to schedule or confirm a date just yet.
All you have to do is let us know with a “set date later” reminder. To set this up in your assignment page just head to the “Appointment Confirmation” section and click on “Schedule a reminder”. A menu will appear from which you’ll be able to select the most fitting option to your situation. Once you do that, please let us know when you’ll be able to confirm a time and date for your photoshoot. This is not the date for the appointment, this is the date when the reminder will expire and we’ll be expecting you to reach the on site-contact once more to confirm a schedule. Make sure to leave us a small comment to explain why you’re setting up a reminder and click on confirm.

SP: Refusal

You’ve reached the onsite contact to make an appointment but they refuse to do a photoshoot for one reason or another. In this case please let us know by setting up a “refusal” blocker on the assignment. Head to the page and select “Ask for Help” in the “Appointment Confirmation” section. A menu will appear where you’ll be able to select “Onsite contact refused the assignment”. From there, a second menu will show multiple options, please select the most fitting one for the situation. To submit your report, please leave us a comment with a small explanation letting us know why the photoshoot was refused and click “Confirm”. Feel free to remove yourself from the mission if you don’t wish to follow up if the situation changes and the contact wishes to carry out the photoshoot.

SP: Call Issue

Sometimes the on-site contact is unreachable. If you’ve tried to contact them more than five times and you’re still not getting an answer, please let us know by placing a “Call issue” blocker on your assignment. This way we can step in and help you out! To do this, head to your assignment’s page and in the section “Appointment confirmation”, click on “Ask for Help”. A menu will appear where you’ll be able to select the most fitting option. In this case, please choose: “Onsite contact not available”. In the comments just leave us a small message letting us know you’ve tried to contact them multiple times but for whatever reason they’re not picking up or replying and click on “Confirm”. The OCUS Team will take action from here and we’ll let you know when we have updates.

Missing information/incorrect information

It may be that the contact information we’ve been provided by the client is wrong. If you’re struggling with this please let us know by placing a “Missing information” blocker. We’ll step in and correct the information if possible. To do this, head to your assignment’s page and in the section “Appointment Confirmation”, click on “Ask for Help”. A menu will appear where you’ll be able to select the most fitting option. In this case, please choose: “Incorrect onsite contact details” and choose the information you noticed is wrong or missing. In the comments just leave us a small message with an explanation and click on “Confirm”. The OCUS Team will take action from here and we’ll let you know once we’ve found the correct details.
