W9 or 1099 Form for US Based Entrepreneurs

OCUS is a company licensed and registered in France with international operations. As we are not a US-based entity, we cannot file Form 1099-MISC and therefore we cannot provide this to you.


According to the IRS website, any individual with net earnings from self-employment of $400 or more from gig work, even if it's a side job, part-time or temporary, must file a tax return. You can learn more about filing taxes for gig work here and also use Form 1040-ES to estimate the taxes due on your earnings.
