GOOD NEWS ! On the new version of the site, you do not have to take any steps to have the compensation which are due to you, no more risk of forgetting or error, it is automatic and you will save precious time! :)
When a mission is canceled or postponed for less than 24 hours, the compensation will be automatically applied by our team without any action on your part.
On the old version of the site, you probably know the process, there is a little more effort to provide ...;)
Unexpected events can occur and in a small percentage of cases, a cancellation is necessary. If this unforeseen event were to occur, the following procedure is set in place to deliver a compensation fee to the photographer.
The conditions to be able to claim compensation are as follows:
- It does not surpass 30% of the full price of the mission
- It is increased to a maximum of € 20 (or US$20, it depends on the network) per expense
- It can only be applied a maximum of two compensations per mission
A cancellation fee may only be paid in the event of cancellation/postponement of the mission within 24 hours of the scheduled date.
Thus, a refusal on the part of the advertiser if the photographer is already on-site is, for example, a valid case which makes it possible to obtain a cancellation fee.
Note: the compensation applied to an assignment will be paid to you after completion and validation of the mission, and will be indicated on your invoice for the month. If a cancellation fee is applied to a mission that is incomplete, it will not be paid out since that mission is not invoiced.
In the case of a cancellation, or a request for de-assignment, we must transfer the cancellation fee to another future mission that you are sure to complete. This process will be optimized in the coming months, count on us! :)
For example: the mission carried out on January 29th is canceled by the client at the very last minute, so it is likely that your compensation will be applied to a mission that takes place on February 3rd to ensure that you receive the funds. Thus, the fees will be paid out in February invoice instead.
If you are faced with the situation mentioned above, you can go to the tab of the mission, open the form in the "Comments" area and select as appropriate:
- I want to report a change of date less than 24 hours before the photoshoot
- I want to report a cancellation less than 24 hours before the photoshoot
