Assignment blockers

An assignment you booked may be blocked for several reasons. The table below lists a number of reasons, under different terms we call blockers, that may explain the issue and that keep you updated on when it will be resolved. It also tells you what type of notifications you’ll receive when there is an update.

The blockers are divided into two groups: before the assignment and after the assignment.

 

Before the assignment

Contact refusal

The on-site contact refused the assignment

 

Possible reasons include:

  • establishment closed: the establishment is permanently closed.
  • guidelines: the on-site contact has some issues regarding the guidelines.
  • has pictures: the on-site contact already has pictures.
  • not interested: the on-site contact is not interested in getting any visual content. 
  • no show: the on-site contact did not show up to welcome the photograher. 
  • partner issue: there is an issue between the on-site contact and your company needs to be solved
  • partnership ended: the on-site contact no longer works with your company
  • misc: other reasons.

Possible reasons include: 

  • bad weather: the weather prevents the assignment from taking place in the best conditions.
  • client material issue: the on-site contact could not provide the right equipment.
  • date unknown: the on-site contact cannot provide an appointment date for the time being.
  • in vacation: the on-site contact is on leave and will reschedule a date.
  • refurbishment: the establishment is undergoing construction or is being renovated.
  • waiting confirmation: the photographer is waiting for the on-site contact to confirm the appointment.
  • waiting next season: the on-site contact asked to schedule the job in a different time of year.
  • misc: other reasons.

Call issue

The Image Creator tried to reach the on-site contact unsuccessfully

 

Possible reasons include:

  • wrong number: the on-site contact did not give a valid phone number.
  • no answer: the photographer could not reach the on-site contact by phone.
  • not available: the photographer reached someone at the establishment, but not the on-site contact.
  • misc: other reasons.

Possible reasons include:

  • missing contact info: the contact information was not provided.
  • missing doc: the Image Creator needs an additional document
  • wrong number: the on-site contact did not provide a valid phone number
  • wrong address: the on-site contact did not provide a valid address
  • wrong email: the on-site contact did not give a valid email address.
  • misc: other reasons

Possible reasons include:

  • unclear: the photographer is asking for more specific details.

The Image Creator needs to repeat the assignment

 

Possible reasons include:

  • reshoot bad conditions: the first attempt was carried out under unsuitable conditions (e.g. bad weather).

  • quantity issue: the Image Creator did not take or provide the minimum number of required images (A quantity issue may also arise if the on-site contact did not follow the requirements).

  • quality issue:the images provided do not meet the requirements.
  • misc: miscellaneous
