What to Do If Your Just Eat Credit Isn't Working

If you're having an issue with your Just Eat credit for an At-Home Project, here's what to check and what to do.

Important — never pay out of pocket

The Just Eat credit covers the cost of your order. Never pay for the order yourself. If the credit isn't working or the amount is incorrect, report the issue before placing any order — we'll put the Project on hold and escalate to Just Eat on our side.

Ocus does not reimburse out-of-pocket payments made during a session.

The credit isn't showing in the Just Eat app

  1. Make sure you tapped "Claim credits" on your Project page — the credit only activates once you tap this button

  2. Open the restaurant page using the link in your Project description — do not search for the restaurant manually in the Just Eat app

  3. Check that you're logged into the correct Just Eat app for your country

  4. Check that your Just Eat account is registered with the same email address as your Ocus account — Just Eat matches by email only

  5. If it's your first Just Eat Project, tapping "Claim credits" sends you an activation email — complete the registration using your Ocus email before ordering

If none of the above applies and the credit still isn't showing → tap "Report a Problem" on your Project page to flag the issue and put the Project on hold. Then contact us via the chat bubble so we can investigate and escalate to Just Eat on our side.

The credit amount is incorrect

The credit amount is set and processed directly by Just Eat. Ocus doesn't control the amount or the calculation.

If the amount displayed doesn't match what you expected → tap "Report a Problem" on your Project page before placing your order. Then contact us via the chat bubble — we'll put the Project on hold and escalate to Just Eat on our side.
