For a reason or another, your media has been refused; this happens from time to time and for various reasons. This article explains the different actions that can be taken in case of refusal.
We take this opportunity to remind you that to avoid a refusal it is imperative that you respect the guidelines, available with each assignment.
1- My media are incorrectly named, I need to rename them, how can I do it?
Go to "my assignments" page and click on "action required". This section is reserved for the different actions you need to perform on your tasks. Here you will see the task you need to rename. You can click on it. You will then be taken to the assignment page. Click on "rename media". You will then be directed to the page where you can click on the name of the photo and modify it. When you are done, click on "confirm".
2- I have been asked for additional photos, what should I do?
It is possible that the quality control department will ask you for additional photos. Either you have not put in the right number of photos, or some photos do not correspond to the guidelines. In these cases, we will ask you if you have any additional images. If so, you can download them directly from your space. To do so, go to the "my reports" page and click on "action required". This section is reserved for the different actions you have to do on an assignment. Here, the assignment is displayed. You can click on it, you will arrive on the download page to put your additional pictures.
If you don't have any additional shots, but you have a valid explanation, let us know and we will decide if a reshoot is necessary or not.
3- I've been asked for a reshoot, what should I do?
If you have not respected the guidelines, then we cannot deliver the photos to the client. The quality control will decide if a reshoot is necessary. You will have to make an appointment with the on-site contact to reshoot the photos that are refused.
If you refuse to do the reshoot, you will not be paid for the assignment because you did not respect the guidelines.
4- My assignment was validated by OCUS but now it is refused?
OCUS sends the assignment to the client when it is conformed to the guidelines. In some cases, the client may refuse the assignment despite OCUS validation. The quality control will solve what does not correspond to the client's expectations. Either Quality Control can solve this problem on its own, it will not call on you and the assignment will be delivered again. Or we need your help to solve the problem and quality control will contact you (additional pictures...).
