As a photographer or videographer registering with OCUS, you will need to provide some legal documents that may differ according to the country you’re based in. Your working status may also vary accordingly.
Note: check that all provided documents stay valid during the period that you intend to work with OCUS.
For photographers or videographers based in any country except the USA or France, please refer to the first section of this article.

1. Legal documents required for your registration in any country except the USA and France
Your country of work is your home country
To work with OCUS, please provide
- a valid identity document, such as an identity card, a driver’s license, or a passport.
- a valid document proving that your business is registered at local level with the trade / commercial register.
Your country of work differs from your home country
To work with OCUS, please provide
- a valid identity document, such as an identity card, a driver’s license, or a passport
- a valid residence permit
- a valid work permit
- a valid document proving that your business is registered either at your home country level or your country of residence level with the local trade / commercial register.
2. Legal documents required for photographers and videographers based in the USA
To work with OCUS, please provide
- a valid identity document, such as a driver’s license or a passport
- a filled-in Form W-9
- a document proving that your business is registered at State level
- your IRS number as your legal number
